WordPress security plugin with a firewall, malware scanning and bot blocking.
Shield Security is a WordPress security plugin that concentrates on prevention. According to the vendor it blocks malicious bots, looks for hidden malware and vulnerable plugins, protects user accounts and can back up the site automatically so there is something to restore if things go wrong. You can start with a free version and upgrade later, and the vendor promises a money-back guarantee. It suits site owners and agencies who want firewall, scanning and login protection in one plugin.
