The Black Friday Vault Giveaway: Official Rules
No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Entering or winning does not depend on buying anything.
1. Organiser
The giveaway is run by Black Friday Vault (blackfridayvault.com), operated by T Siddardha, Tumma Street, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh 532001, India ("the Organiser"). The software makers who donate licences are called "Prize Providers" in these rules. Prize Providers do not run the giveaway.
2. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older.
- You can enter from anywhere in the world, except where giveaways like this are prohibited or restricted by law. Void where prohibited.
- Staff of the Organiser and of the Prize Providers, and their immediate families, can't win.
3. Entry period
The giveaway opens on 2 Nov 2026 at 00:00 UTC and closes at the end of 30 Nov 2026 (Cyber Monday), at 00:00 UTC on 1 Dec 2026. Entries outside this period don't count.
4. How to enter
- Entering is free. No purchase necessary.
- Enter your name and email in the giveaway widget on blackfridayvault.com/giveaway/.
- Confirm your entry using the link in the email we send you. Only confirmed entries can win.
- Entering gives you 1 entry. You must tick the consent box to enter.
5. Bonus entries
- Get Black Friday deal alerts: visit blackfridayvault.com/alerts/ to set up alerts, for 2 entries.
- Refer a friend: share your personal link. You get 3 entries for each friend who enters and confirms their entry, up to 20 friends.
- Visit a Prize Provider's deal page: 1 entry per Prize Provider.
6. Prizes and prize providers
- The prizes are software licences donated by Prize Providers. The current list is on the giveaway page and may grow during the entry period.
- There is one winner per licence. A person can win at most one prize.
- There is no cash alternative. Prizes are not transferable.
- The terms of the Prize Provider's licence apply to each prize.
7. Winner selection and notification
- Winners are drawn at random from all eligible, confirmed entries on or around 2 Dec 2026.
- Your odds depend on the number of eligible entries.
- Winners are announced publicly at blackfridayvault.com/giveaway/ and notified by email.
- A winner has 7 days to reply to the winner email. If they don't, an alternate winner is drawn.
8. Prize delivery
Licences are delivered either by Black Friday Vault or directly by the Prize Provider. To allow delivery, the winner's name and email are passed to the Prize Provider of the prize they won.
9. Privacy
- Entrants are added to the Black Friday Vault email list. This is for giveaway updates, the winner announcement and Black Friday deal picks. You must tick a consent box to enter, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Entrant emails are never shared with or sold to Prize Providers. Only a winner's name and email go to the Prize Provider of the prize they won, so that the licence can be delivered.
10. Disqualification
The Organiser may disqualify any entry that uses a fake or duplicate email, uses a bot or script, or tampers with the entry process or the giveaway in any way. A disqualified person can't win.
11. Limitation of liability
The giveaway is not affiliated with or endorsed by X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or any other social platform. The Organiser is not responsible for entries that are late, lost or not received, or for problems with a Prize Provider's licence or product. Nothing in these rules limits any liability that can't be limited by law.
12. Taxes
Winners are responsible for any taxes that apply to their prize.
13. General
- By entering, you agree to these rules.
- The Organiser may update these rules, for example to add prizes. The date of the latest update is at the bottom of this page.
- The Organiser's decisions on the giveaway are final.
